Can you give a brief description on your business and what you offer clients?
Senserly Fun is a mobile sensory play company that seeks to bring sensory play activities and benefits to parties and events. We do this by offering sensory-rich packages and addons that we customize based on our clients requested theme. We also setup and cleanup so the burden of the mess is not placed on our clients.
Can you explain what sensory play is?
Sensory play is any activity that stimulates our senses – touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. It helps children interact with and make sense of the world that surrounds them.
How did you come up with the idea of starting a company that provides sensory play for parties?
Senserly Fun was born out of my own search for a sensory play-based birthday party for my Autistic child. I was aware of how much he enjoyed sensory play and out of all the popular party entertainment services none of them quite captured the essence of what I was searching for. This made me realize that there aren’t many party options for sensory play and voila Senserly Fun was born.
How much does it cost to have Senserly Fun at a birthday party?
We offer a variety of packages at different price points however our lowest priced package is $300 and our highest package is $3,000. We also have the option of having a completely customized party outside of our offered packages which will vary in cost.
In addition to the sensory play, do you offer any other services?
We offer sensory kits and sensory jars for purchase on our website 🙂
Do you have a list of themes for the setups or are you able to do custom themes?
Each party/setup is customized based on our clients requests.
How much room does someone need to provide for you to set up the “Senserly Fun sensory pod” can you set it up outside?
We can attempt to accommodate a variety of spaces if the party is one without our sensory pod. In those cases we would need to review the desired are of space to make a determination on how best to setup our tables. For our tents we have two sizes 10×10 and 12×12. We are also able to setup outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors.
What is the age range of kids that enjoy playing with the sensory play setups you provide?
Suggested age is 2 – 10 however it is possible to have a customized party for children as young as 16 months.
What is your ultimate goal for Senserly Fun in the future?
Our ultimate goal for Senserly Fun in the future is to build a Senserly Fun House that is an all in one event space + sensory play exploration center.
