Smash Cake Designs to Choose from
I do a ton of cake smash sessions at my studio here in Houston, Texas. So one thing I offer to help the experience be as easy as possible for my clients is the smash cake! I’ve found in my years of experience, that simple 6 inch vanilla buttercream cakes are the best for getting the kid’s attention and for those adorable messy photos. Below is the 4 options for the cake design you can choose from, or if you want to skip the mess you can view what my fake cake prop looks like as well!
Design #1 Solid Color
The frosting can be ANY color.
Design #2 Naked cake
Frosting can be ANY color
Design #3 Ombre
Again, frosting can be ANY color
Design #4 Rosette
You guessed it, the frosting can be ANY color.
Next up is fake cakes! This is such an awesome prop I have if the kids have allergies, or if the parents just want to skip the sugar and the mess. I ask you to bring little snacks your child likes, and we put those directly behind the cake for them to eat so it looks like they’re eating cake! I’ll have fake cakes in blue, pink, purple, and white. They can be photoshopped to other colors too!

Or you can bring in a fun cake topper to add a little more decoration to your cake. Just know the topper may only last for a photo before being ripped off and it may not be able to be used again.
